Location: Libertyville IL
Pay: $40-50/hr

We are seeking a skilled Windows 11 Migration Engineer to lead and execute the planning, deployment, and support of Windows 11 across our organization. This role involves working closely with IT teams and end users to ensure a smooth transition from previous Windows versions to Windows 11, with minimal disruption to business operations.

Lead the end-to-end Windows 11 migration process, including assessment, planning, testing, deployment, and post-migration support. Evaluate current hardware and software compatibility with Windows 11. Coordinate with asset management teams for hardware upgrades or replacements if necessary.
Work with application owners to test and validate applications for compatibility.
Repackage and deploy applications using tools such as SCCM, Intune, or other endpoint management systems.
Develop, test, and deploy Windows 11 images using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM)
Ensure user profiles and data are securely migrated using tools like USMT or third-party solutions.
Provide Tier 2/3 support during and after the migration. Troubleshoot deployment issues and resolve compatibility or performance problems.
Maintain clear documentation of processes, checklists, and outcomes. Provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders.
