*3 Year Contract- **MUST BE LOCAL TO BOSTON, MASSACHEUSETTS!!! **HYBRID* *Description* They are looking to add a Salesforce Admin/Developer to their team to help design, build and maintain their applications within their Salesforce team. They are responsible for all of highways, roads, bridges, licenses, registration, etc. We have been working with them for over 10 years and have a great relationship with their C Level executives as well as their directors. As a Salesforce Admin/Developer you will be building, enhancing, and maintaining applications. The company currently uses custom Salesforce applications to support various business units. We are looking to expand the power of Salesforce by enhancing current systems and developing new application features. You will be challenged by projects that including legacy application transformations, new custom application features, API integrations, and more. We are seeking someone with excellent technical and communication skills who can interface directly with internal stakeholders, understand their needs, and configure and customize the platform to meet new/changing business requirements. This position will be responsible for ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on all the features and benefits of the system based on various business needs. This position will promote adoption, keep current on new releases and AppExchange solutions, and act as subject matter expert on complex and/or critical system issues and processes for the Salesforce environment. *Who you are:* *Solutions Oriented *Innovative *Critical Thinker *Independent *Excellent Communicator *Technically Diverse *Qualifications* *5+ years of experience building on Salesforce platform *Hands-on experience defining system architecture, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes *Functional knowledge of data integration tools and data flow *Experience or knowledge integrating Salesforce with different business systems and APIs *Hands on experience in developing and configuring reports, custom reports, report folders, report extractions, dashboards for different user profiles based on requirements *Experience with standard Salesforce reporting and dashboards *Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration capabilities and the ability to recommend best practices and identify areas where custom development is required *Experience authoring requirements, definition, design, and other related project and system documentation *Able to run Backlog grooming sessions and training for business users *Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies *Experience on development in creating Objects, Triggers, Apex Classes, Visual Force pages, Standard Controllers, Custom Controllers and Controller Extensions *Designed junction objects and implemented various advanced fields like Pick list, Custom Formula Fields, Field Dependencies, Validation Rules, Workflows, sharing rules and Approval Processes for automated alerts, field updates, and Email generation as per requirements *experience in customizing the User Interface of Salesforce CRM using Apex Programming, Custom Controllers, Visual Force, CSS and JavaScript *Experience with security and Sharing rules implementation at object, field, and record level for different levels of organization and also SSO set up *Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire *Experience with Agile methodologies and running projects on Agile *Responsibilities: * *Serve as System Administrator for the Salesforce environments *Handle administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks *Respond to end user issues, enhancement requests and other administrative needs *Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests *Manage the integration of applications connected to Salesforce *Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements. Facilitate backlog grooming sessions *Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades *Work with stakeholders and business partners to establish suitable processes to support development and change management activities *Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce skill set and adoption across the organization *Perform testing of features/functions as required *Skills* salesforce, architect, visual force, erpss *Top Skills Details* salesforce, architect, visual force *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $95.00/hr.
