Job Description:

The PD Operations team is seeking an experienced data coordinator and data analyst to join our team as a Professional Development Operations Data Integrity Coordinator. This fixed term role will focus on reviewing and approving time cards and expense reports submitted by contractor employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with internal policies. In addition to these core responsibilities, the role may support data cleanup and operational analysis projects to help improve our systems and workflows as we scale. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a commitment to data integrity, with the ability to work 40 hours per week from May through October 2025.

Essential Responsibilities:

Expense Report Review:

  • Thoroughly review submitted expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines

  • Verify the accuracy of expense receipts, account coding, and required documentation.
    Communicate with contractor staff to obtain additional information or clarification as needed.

Time Card Approval:

  • Review time cards for completeness and accuracy in accordance with established timekeeping policies.

  • Ensure proper authorization and documentation for any overtime or special circumstances.

  • Follow up with contractors and PD team leads to resolve any discrepancies or missing information.

Policy Compliance:

  • Stay informed on company policies related to expense reporting and timekeeping.

  • Support contractors by answering questions and guiding them on compliance with applicable policies and expectations.

  • Escalate recurring or complex issues to the appropriate stakeholders for resolution.

Communication:

  • Collaborate regularly with PD team members, managers, and the finance department to address questions or concerns.

  • Provide timely, clear, and professional feedback regarding the status of submitted reports and time cards.

  • Communicate decisions around approval or rejection in a consistent and supportive manner.

Record Keeping:

  • Maintain organized digital records of all reviewed and processed time cards and expense reports.

  • Ensure documentation is audit-ready and compliant with internal requirements.

  • Generate summaries and reports for leadership or audit teams as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with time card and expense report review and approval

  • Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, or payroll/timekeeping policies

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in submitted documentation

  • Proficiency with digital tools and platforms used for financial tracking and document management

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely across teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field

  • Experience working with remote or contract-based teams

  • Familiarity with Amplify systems, tools, or education sector operations

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Excel, and Workday

  • Prior experience in a high-volume, deadline-driven operational environment

  • Knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and state-by-state labor laws

  • Comfort with handling sensitive information and following data privacy protocols

What we offer:

Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The annualized gross salary range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000, on a 6 month basis.
