Your Role:You should have a collaborative business minded approach with a focus on developing comprehensive process engineering strategies that optimize workflows and enhance overall efficiencies. In this role you will execute new strategies, design and implement effective workflows and procedures and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful process changes and continual improvement. This includes the measurement and monitoring of quantifiable business process improvements and enhancements. This is a new role that offers the opportunity to foster a culture of continuous improvement in an amazing culture while collaborating with people and working with intricate details.

What you Need: A bachelor's degree in a related field; at least 5 years of experience in evaluation, planning and implementation of process engineering and improvement programs; familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma practices certification preferred; strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; exceptional organizational skills, and strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.

This position is open until filled.

This position is primarily located in Jefferson City or Columbia, Missouri.

Flexible work environment will be considered after the initial training period is complete and based off of the candidates' qualifications and needs.

This position is classified as Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Process Engineering and Optimization



  • Develop and implement comprehensive process engineering strategies to optimize workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Identify and analyze business needs, conduct requirements gathering, and define the scope and objectives of process improvements.
  • Establish, implement, and execute methodologies to assess, map, analyze, and document current processes and define, engineer, document, and implement optimal processes to achieve the required results.
  • Partner with executive leaders, process owners, project management, and technology teams to implement engineer, automate, and implement optimized processes.
  • Utilize data gathering, root cause analysis, and performance trending to drive informed process enhancements.

Process Governance, Performance Measurement, and Continuous Improvement



  • Establish and manage a governance structure for organizational processes to ensure accountability, consistency, and sustainable improvements.
  • Develop measurement methodologies and establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track the success of process changes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by embedding standard work practices into the quality system and engaging frontline staff.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging best practices to enhance organizational processes.
  • Analyze process data to create benchmarks and sustainable metrics.
  • Assess and identify value vs. non-value added activities within a process.
  • Uses data metrics to review process, performer productivity and availability to drive business decisions.

Collaboration, Stakeholder Engagement, Project Involvement, and Change Management



  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment, communicate the benefits of change, and address concerns during transitions.
  • Ensure appropriate and consistent change management practices are used to maximize adoption of process enhancements.
  • Participate in strategic organizational projects with a focus on optimal process design in connection with the technology being utilized.
  • Collaborate with the business and Project Manager to formulate and define project scope and objectives of the project.

Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 5 years of experience in evaluation, planning and implementation of process engineering and improvement programs.
  • Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma practices; certification preferred.
