QA Automation Engineer with Playwright and JavaScript

Location: Des Moines - IA

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience.

5 to 8 years of experience in software quality assurance.

Required Skills:

Playwright with JavaScript

API Automation

Karate

BDD

CICD

AccelQ

Agile - SAFE

Manufacturing domain knowledge

Roles and Responsibilities

Automation of test scripts using Playwright and JavaScript to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.

Implement API Test Automation

Provide detailed analysis and reporting of test results, identifying defects and ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure alignment on project requirements and timelines.

Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure that new features and updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.

Implement and maintain test automation frameworks to improve the efficiency and coverage of testing activities.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the quality of the codebase.

Mentor and guide junior test analysts, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in software testing and automation tools and Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
