Job Summary Cloud Engineer - Experience crafting large-scale terraform templates in Microsoft Azure for a wide range of components in an enterprise-environment. We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with 7 to 11 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure IAC-Terraform Powershell Terraform Azure Resource Manager and Microsoft Azure. Responsibilities Design and implement cloud solutions using Azure and Terraform to meet business requirements. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IAC) using Terraform and Azure Resource Manager. Automate deployment processes using Powershell to ensure efficient and reliable cloud operations. Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud strategies. Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on cloud best practices. Ensure security and compliance of cloud infrastructure by implementing appropriate controls. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services. Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to existing cloud infrastructure. Document cloud architecture and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity. Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends to drive innovation. Contribute to the development of cloud governance policies and procedures. Support the migration of on-premises applications to the cloud. Qualifications Possess strong expertise in Azure IAC-Terraform Powershell Terraform Azure Resource Manager and Microsoft Azure. Demonstrate experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions. Show proficiency in automating deployment processes using Powershell. Have a solid understanding of cloud security and compliance best practices. Exhibit excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Display strong collaboration and communication skills. Experience in the Payments or Cards & Payments domain is a plus. Knowledge of cloud governance policies and procedures is desirable. Ability to stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends. Proven track record of optimizing cloud infrastructure for performance and cost. Experience in supporting the migration of on-premises applications to the cloud. Strong documentation skills to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity. Ability to work in a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel requirements. Certifications Required Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Terraform Associate Certification Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 05/08/2025 The annual salary for this position is between $49,001 - $107,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
