Short Description

The Administrative Director of Medical Staff Services oversees the planning, execution, and operation of the Medical Staff Services department to meet the goals of Cooper University Health Care. This role provides leadership and expertise in departmental management and is accountable for Medical Staff and Managed Care credentialing and privileging, Medical Staff governance, human resources management, fiscal management, and quality initiatives aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and strategic goals. The Administrative Director works collaboratively with the Medical Staff President, the Medical Executive Committee (MEC), and other Medical Staff leaders-whether appointed, elected, volunteer, or paid, such as department chiefs, division heads, and committee chairs-to develop, coordinate, and direct Medical Staff Office programs and activities. Additionally, the Administrative Director ensures departmental strategies are effectively implemented, objectives are met and remain in compliance with relevant regulatory and accreditation bodies governing the organized Cooper University Physicians Medical Staff.


Experience Required

6-10 years' experience required.


Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree required, Masters preferred.
