As a member of the Grocery headquarters team, the Senior Merchandising Analyst supports teammates in the distribution centers and on the South Campus category management team. They analyze data to confirm category decisions and work to grow our retail customers' businesses. Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills are essential; organization, creative problem-solving, and continuous improvement mentality are key qualities for success in this position.

Extract, scrub, and analyze sales data for consideration of planogram placement to ensure best target mix recommendations for lab store review process.
Provide data-based planogram recommendations to division personnel.
Support field-based planogram development, helping teammates to decrease turnaround time.
Assist with planning, directing, and coordinating lab store efforts; work with customers to provide in-depth category reviews.
Work closely with the Merchandising Category Management team to develop national, regional, and customer-specific planogram recommendations.
Perform data mining, reset billing, and billable value-added services.
Train new analysts. This position has additional duties; special projects may be assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
Significant analytical experience and proficiency with computer applications (Microsoft Excel, Access).
5+ years of merchandising and data analysis experience.
A combination of retail, buying, and allocation experience (preferred).
