JOB TITLE Graduate, Transfer, and Admissions Operations Program Director JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY SUMMARY OF POSITION:The Graduate, Transfer, and Admissions Operations Program Director provides results-oriented recruitment for transfer students, graduate programs, and the operational leadership for the admissions office at Florida Poly. The Program Director is specifically responsible for managing the execution of the University's strategic enrollment initiatives for graduate and transfer students; aligning with the Director and AVP to provide both strategic and tactical approaches to meet graduate and transfer enrollment goals; collaborating closely with internal and external department partners; and managing the day-to-day operations of the admissions strategy. This position is responsible for overseeing the recruitment of transfer and graduate students consistent with the University's enrollment goals and strategic plan. Will have daily contact with prospective students, parents, high school counselors, University officials or agencies who contact the University regarding the enrollment process. RESPONSIBILITIES: *Supervise a team of Admissions Counselors and Data Processing Coordinators, providing training, support, and direction of their responsibilities. *Coordinate, track, and facilitate the development and maintenance of a recruitment and admissions plan for graduate and transfer student prospects and applicants. *Support the Director and AVP with developing and implement strategic enrollment goals for increasing student applications, conversion rates, and enrollment outcomes. *Serve on campus-wide committees related to admissions. *Develop and implement the office of admissions communication plan for the recruitment and admission of students; and assess its effectiveness. *Develop and implement enhanced admissions processes for graduate and transfer student applicants; including technology-based business process, management of the admissions review process and develop and incorporate automated decisions to assist faculty and applicants for a seamless experience. *Maintain a high level of customer service through contacts with prospective and current students and their families; act as a resource from pre-enrollment through students' first year. *Identify and make recommendations regarding system solutions; communicate with the Salesforce Systems Administrator and Information Technology team to implement technical changes. *Develop procedures to comply with regulatory changes and train staff regarding the implementation of these procedures. Monitor system changes through audit reports and assess the need for additional training and/or procedural changes. Represent the University both on- and off-campus to prospective students, parents, counselors, and external constituents involved in the college selection process. *Plan and implement recruitment activities for assigned schools, and/or territories, including travel to targeted schools and/or communities. Identify and maintain contact with the appropriate school and college personnel responsible for assisting with on-site visits. *Oversee the review and evaluation of applications and supporting documentation submitted by applicants for the purposes of making admission decisions. Answer inquiries from parents, students, and counselors regarding the status of applications, basis for the admissions decisions, scholarship opportunities and special recruitment programs. *Develop and implement local, state, and national student visit programs designed to recruit targeted prospective applicants to the University. *Develop ongoing strategic communications with colleges and transfer counselors, including email, social media, print, and other media. Develop and deliver on-campus events and programs for counseling groups and individuals. *Assist with the development of programs to recruit targeted prospective applicants to the University. *Provides analysis and interpretation of state statutes and Florida Administrative Code regarding admission to the SUS, Florida residency for tuition purposes and selective admission criteria for the University. *Support the Salesforce Systems Administrator in responding to requests for data and must be sensitive to and aware of the legal (Buckley Amendment) confidentiality issues for the release of information. *Perform other duties as assigned. NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE:This position is salary exempt. The normal work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., however, occasional overtime (weekends and evenings) may be required.
