- The Business Analyst is responsible for helping business partners implement ServiceNow technology solutions cost-effectively by determining the requirements and communicating them clearly to teams.
- The Business Analyst provides general analytical support across the entire organization and, therefore, should understand key business processes, key business drivers, and the short- and long-term direction of service management.
- During development, the business analyst will deal with issues and questions and support implementing required changes.
- The Business Analyst also performs user testing and supports quality efforts.
- Assesses client needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes).
- Helps align technology solutions with business processes.
- Investigates and develops ideas and positions on technology and business issues.
- Analyzes customer's systems and operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine improvement opportunities.
- Develops, writes, and communicates business requirements for implementing ServiceNow.
- Creates user stories, use case diagrams, and value stream maps.
- Develop user test cases and validate test results.
- May review and approve test plans and monitor the testing process to ensure that business results are adequately tested with minimal risk.
- Ensures that the solution has met business requirements.
- Investigates problems and develops recommendations for resolution.
- Identifies risk associated with solutions and collaborates with IT resources for mitigation strategies.
- Develops communication materials such as presentations and written and oral communications.
- Research and identify best practices of ServiceNow implementation and administration.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with business partners to provide appropriate solutions.
- Keeps customers informed of problems, issues, and resolutions.
- Analyzes performance metrics to ensure customer satisfaction.
- ServiceNow end user and customer communication.
- ServiceNow end user and customer training.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or Business.
- Minimum of 5 years of technical and business work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in business operations and systems requirements processes.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in (International Institute of Business Analysis) IIBA principles and practices.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Specific ITSM or ITIL.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Business Analyst.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Microsoft Office productivity tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and reporting tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in ServiceNow implementation.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Accuracy, analytical skills, critical thinking, reading comprehension, active listening, speaking, judgment and decision-making, writing, detail, and monitoring.
- Understanding of risk management and security.
- Proven experience documenting Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, Test Scripts and Test Plans, and End User Training.
- Experience using a structured SDLC or agile/scrum methodology.
- Leads testing for tool upgrades.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Service Management.
- Must be able to independently design, develop, implement, manage, and support various projects.
- Software and Other Tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, JIRA, and Confluence.
