Business Overview:

Institutional Life (IL) projection team is in charge of earnings/capital analysis and projection for institutional BOLI and COLI products. The role will drive close cross-functional collaborations within IL/Corporate Finance and business teams to deliver accurate financial reporting and analytical insights for IL management. This position is located in the NYC Home Office.

What You'll Do:
* Manage accounting/valuation policies, controls on valuation/reporting processes and financial audit requests in collaboration with Controllership and Actuarial Services teams
* Lead the quarterly variance analysis and reforecast on key financial metrics across accounting bases, such as management earnings, statutory surplus and required capital, as well as the development and analysis on the multi-year financial plan
* Communicate financial results and drivers to Finance and business management teams
* Manage and enhance actuarial modelling software to project Institutional Life Earnings
* Develop analytical tools and reports that provide management with insight into the risks and financial performance of the business
* Stay abreast of changes in the regulatory environment and product development that would affect product valuation and financial reporting

What You'll Bring:
* FSA with 5+ years of experience
* Prior experience with life insurance product financial reporting strongly desired
* Ability to adapt to fast changing work demands, with a high degree of urgency under tight deadlines
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to apply financial/accounting concepts in various business situations
* Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders with technical/business backgrounds
* High professional integrity and work ethic

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:$122,500-$210,000

Overtime eligible:Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes

Sales bonus eligible:No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
