Current Need: Our Richmond Extended Care Sales Division is seeking a new Inside Sales Representative to join our team.

Job Summary: Responsible for new account development and expansion of business in existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospect Conversion

  • Sell company products to our customers that include incontinence, med cups, gloves, etc... via telephone and through other electronic means.

  • Generate prospective customers and close sales through cold calling prospect lists and inactive or win-back accounts.

  • Keeps up-to-date knowledge of the industry and vendor products/offerings with vendor site visits and other means, as well as the competitive posture of the Company.

  • Exercises judgment with defined procedures to determine appropriate action.

  • Displays thorough knowledge of company products and value-added programs.

  • Prepare quotes and negotiate sales transactions.

Existing Expansion

  • Perform tasks listed above, while identifying opportunities to grow sales and capitalize on opportunities within existing customers.

  • Win-Back lost and declining customers in existing book of business within defined territory.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 + years of relevant experience

Education:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required

  • 4-year degree strongly preferred

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience

Critical Skills:

  • 2+ years business experience in an Inside Sales setting with focus on growing assigned territory

  • 1+ years' experience prospecting to drive in new business

  • 1+ years' experience cold calling

  • 1+ years' experience managing and maintaining existing account activity

  • Proven successful in managing multiple competing priorities while providing the highest level of customer support

  • Ability to work autonomously and discipline to thrive in a hybrid WFH Model.

  • Goal oriented, competitive, and results driven.

  • Able to thrive in a dynamic environment and navigate organizational complexity and change.

  • Detail oriented with good problem-solving skills.

  • Good reasoning abilities and sound judgment

  • Strong communication and listening skills.

  • Engaging and confident phone demeanor

  • Ability to understand and articulate value proposition components to our customers including, GPO's, PHD, technology systems and customer connectivity platforms. -- Examples Include VGM, Brightree, Scan Manager, and other EDI platforms.

  • High level of computer proficiency using Outlook Office, Particularly Excel, and Salesforce.com

  • Positive Attitude and Workplace Resiliency Required

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Total Target Cash (TTC) Pay Range for this position:

32.06 - 53.43

Total Target Cash (TTC) is defined as base pay plus target incentive.
