Senior Manufacturing Procurement Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Manufacturing Procurement Analyst is responsible for purchasing activity including
supplier price, payment term and payment method negotiation, vendor account set up, contract
price alignment for purchase order execution of raw materials, components, parts, capital
equipment and services. This role will establish and maintain Agiliti supplier relationships,
champion continuous purchasing improvements including master data maintenance and
management across multiple systems (ERP). This cross functional role within a national
organization requires sound decision making while fulfilling internal customer needs.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop programs, procedures, reports, and system tools to improve the productivity and
eicacy of the Procurement organization.
* Lead transitional changes to improve inventory, negotiation, purchasing, and maintenance
of parts across all company touchpoints.
* Develop reports for Procurement team and management to aid in sourcing decisions.
* Provide back-up cross team support to the Strategic Sourcing Team and other
Procurement Analysts.

* Establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with suppliers.
* Process purchase orders with "best source and cost" determination.
* Research alternative products or alternate suppliers as required.
* Responsible for purchase order accuracy and execution including proper follow-up via
order acknowledgment through delivery.
* Negotiate prices with suppliers and quote pricing as required.
* Lead and execute the returns process with suppliers.
* Responsible for price maintenance and new contract execution.
* Develop and monitor weekly, monthly and year over year vendor spend, aged PO reports
and blocked invoices.
* Monitor inventory levels to ensure products are being ordered and stocked in a cost
eective, eicient, and productive manner. Resolve account payable requests including
purchase order quantity and/or price exceptions in a timely manner.
* Successfully prioritize organizational demands within a fast paced, high-volume
environment.
* Initiate and assist with periodic process improvement eorts.
* Other duties or projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field
* 3+ years of purchasing or buying experience may substitute for degree.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
* Superior analytical skills
* Advanced knowledge and understanding of supply chain, and procurement processes
* Strong business acumen
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills; both written and verbal
* Advanced computer skills in: AS/400, MS products (Word, Excel), SAP, or other ERP
systems.
* Strong planning, organizational (multi-tasking) and quick problem-solving skills
* Preferred: Knowledge of healthcare, hospital industry, or medical equipment. Knowledge
and understanding of supply chain, inventory and procurement processes.
* Previous experience developing metrics for an organization
* Previous experience creating reporting tools to harvest data and output actionable
information
* Previous experience developing tools (business systems, procedures) that demonstrably
change the way an organization behaves
* Good negotiation skills - able to guide team members through transition
* Strong sense of initiative and ownership - able to guide team members through transition
* Ability to work solo or in cross functional groups to achieve desired outcomes
