System Director Social Work Services

Strategic Leadership Across the Healthcare Continuum

Are you a visionary leader in social work with a passion for transforming patient care across diverse settings? We're seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our psychosocial and care coordination programs-shaping strategy, optimizing processes, and enhancing services across the entire health care continuum.

This role provides strategic system-wide leadership and oversees key programs including Social Work Services and Ryan White Case Management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and a commitment to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic planning, resource management, and process improvement initiatives that enhance care coordination and psychosocial support services.

• Collaborate closely with administrative and patient care leaders across the continuum to implement innovative, patient-centered solutions.

• Promote and uphold standards of excellence in care delivery and program execution.

• Drive organizational change through coaching, critical thinking, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Oversee the operations and strategic direction of Social Work Services and Ryan White Case Management departments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program

• LCSW licensure in the State of Missouri

• Minimum 10 years' experience in medical social work within a healthcare setting

• At least 5 years in progressive leadership roles (supervisory or management)

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and leading organizational improvements

• Skilled in data analysis, problem-solving, facilitation, and team coaching

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Case Manager (CCM) - American Case Management Association

• Experience in an academic healthcare setting
