Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Pope AAF, NC. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Develop curriculum, conduct instruction, and maintain JID courses
  • Liaison with operational Combatant Commander staffs for exercise planning and preparation.
  • Prepare or review OPTASK LINK messages for use in JTO exercises.
  • Assist in selection, modification, or request of Link 16 networks to support JTO exercises.
  • Perform analysis of multi-TDL architecture performance and institute changes based on observations.
  • Coordinate with development and acquisition agencies for procurement of and evaluate JICO automated tools.
  • Maintain configuration management of the JICO automated tools.
  • Operate the Link 16 Pulse Deconfliction Server (LPDS) and assist users with Frequency Clearance and Time Slot Duty Factor (TSDF) issues.
  • Represent JID at joint and combined interoperability working groups.
  • Provide course planning and administration, which includes development and maintenance of schedules, scheduling hands-on field training, student briefs, handouts and administrative documents, and student notification processes.
  • Develop, instruct, revise, and maintain JID course materials.
  • Perform curriculum reviews, courseware development, and multimedia enhancements, especially in an electronic classroom.
  • Support world-wide deployed mobile training team requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Associates Degree
  • JICO certification
  • Active Secret DoD Clearance.
  • Minimum 4 years of JICO experience (Air Battle Manager/Air Weapons Officer/Intercept Control Officer)
  • Minimum 4 years of Multi TDL experience
  • Minimum 4 years of Military instructor experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain JICO Instructor qualifications if no prior JICO qualifications held
  • Experience with Variable Message Format over Combat Net Radio (VMF over CNR) and Digitally Aided Close Air Support (DACAS).
  • Former Field Grade Military Officer, Warrant Officer or Senior NCO
  • Capable of worldwide deployment supporting Mobile Training Teams, often under field conditions.
  • ISD or curriculum development experience
