If you reside within a commutable distance of Cleveland/Akron/Youngstown OH, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Initial assigning of CW and SRS members, processes incoming waiver referrals and entering waiver assessment request in HENS as well as waiver enrollments
  • Managers mandatory training attendance as well as coordinating trainings with MMP staff and the local AAA's Is responsible for eligibility issues and runs eligibility meetings for local AAA's
  • Works on Population Health projects
  • Back up for State Regulatory Responses

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Science or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of clinical experience, or other relevant experience (clinical quality)
  • Experience working in Medicaid and/or Medicare
  • Knowledge of 1 or more of: clinical standards of care, preventive health standards, HEDIS, NCQA, governing and regulatory agency requirements, and the managed care industry
  • Intermediate level Microsoft office


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's degree
  • Current unrestricted RN licensure
  • Health care and insurance industry experience, including regulatory and compliance
  • Medical Coding knowledge / training
  • Proven presentation skills (WebEx, Power Point)

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
