Description Acara Solutions is seeking Material Handlers for a Major Defense Manufacturing Company located in Melbourne, FL. Job Description Read work orders or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved Open containers using steel cutters, crowbar, claw hammer, or other hand tools Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand Load materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools Convey materials to or from storage or worksites to designated areas to include the manufacturing floor by use of hand truck, electric dolly, or another device Count, weigh, and record materials moved or handled in an ERP system Attach tags or labels to materials or otherwise mark information 2nd shift 3:30pm-12:30am Mon-Fri 9/80 work week (every other Friday off) $17.00/hr + 10% shift differential Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED 1 year manufacturing experience 1 year material handling experience Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and drug screen.
