Genesis10 is currently seeking a Production / Technical Support with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Become knowledgeable in Problem Management policy, standards, and process guidelines Manage the lifecycle of all workspace services problems following the enterprise problem management process Identify and document Workaround solutions of a problem Hold weekly problem Management Meetings to ensure problems have the latest updates Conduct diagnosis sessions to identify and document root cause Monitor & Control all EET APSE Problems Ensure all problems assigned to EET APSE Problem Management have a valid Operational Category that includes the product name in the Operational Category Audit all EET APSE open problem records to ensure updates have been done to each record within the last 30 days Ensure EET APSE problems are adherent to Problem Investigations(PBI) and Problem Known Errors (PKE) aging guidelines Review incident report to see if any incident can be linked to an existing problem Large focus on identifying new potential problems by searching incidents and looking for common errors and trends Requirements: Excellent relationship management skills, written and verbal 5+ years of Information Technology experience within a support/operations environment or within the financial services industry Strong critical thinker with the analytical skills to lead the resolution process for complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation Resiliency and confidence dealing with complex situations and people Demonstrate an ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize work in a timely manner Excellent business acumen, able to understand client processes, locations, products and services Desired skills: Previous experience and knowledge working in a larger financial environment Business acumen ServiceNow experience ITIL Certification and in depth understanding of ITIL principles, functions and processes Server, Storage & Network experience Automation skills to reduce manual activities Proven team player who can work comfortably in a multicultural environment Proven ability to work independently, multi-task and effectively work in a complex environment with a global team structure Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong influencer, facilitator, and collaborator Detail oriented and organized Must be pro-active, enthusiastic, flexible, results driven with attention to detail Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Motivation to achieve results and the ability to quickly integrate into teams Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and draw and defend results and conclusions Ability to work in a dynamic and team-oriented environment Ability to balance a significant workload, prioritize and multitask Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
