The Department of Agriculture is looking for candidates to fill Livestock Worker roles at Presque Isle Downs Racetrack. In this position, you will support Veterinarians in managing horses and documenting sample data. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will have the chance to transform your passion for horses into a rewarding career. Your responsibilities will include collecting urine samples from designated racehorses and accurately recording and managing data, including chain of custody procedures. Additionally, you will help maintain the Detention Barn and support various other essential farm activities as needed. Interested in learning more? - This is a temporary part-time employment
- Work hours are 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday - Wednesday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- You will work closely with vendors and work hours may change based on vendor availability.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Experience in general farm work; and such training as may have been gained through completion of the eighth school grade; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Post Employment Requirement:
- This position will require possession of a Commission Employee License once hired.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
