This role requires the employee to be onsite in our Minnesota office. Candidates must already be located in Twin Cities metropolitan area or be willing to relocate at their own expense.

SUMMARY
Colliers is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Accounting & Finance team, supporting financial planning, accounting, and analysis for a company that originates debt, securitize debt, and offers services a range of multifamily and other commercial real estate financing products and services. This role offers the opportunity to interact with leadership, to be a leader in developing Business Central (Accounting system) reporting and be a key contributor in creating insightful forecasts for the business. You will help prepare budgets, create presentations for management, work with large data sets, help create reporting solutions within Business Central, and contribute to strategic financial initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create budgets, perform financial analysis, and help provide insight into financial data
  • Work as a team with cross-functional teams to design solutions that meet the needs of multiple business lines
  • Create User stories, identify efficiencies, and design UI that clearly communicates the needs of the business and the end users
  • Support the development of financial models to analyze profitability and cost effectiveness
  • Excel in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to deliver results to the highest degree of accuracy in terms of financial analysis
  • Apply creativity to problem-solving by sourcing feedback and asking questions

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, economics, finance, or business related area
  • Real estate, capital markets, or corporate finance related experience
  • Understanding of accounting principles, budget modeling, and financial statements
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, troubleshooting, and time management, skills
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical skills through understanding systems and processes
  • Exceptional Excel knowledge such as reading macros, writing nested formulas, and the ability to articulate data into information
  • Experience with Business Central and/or MS Power Automate desired, but not a requirement
  • Ability to communicate with and partner across all levels of the business
  • Broad intellectual curiosity including the ability and desire to grow professionally

COMPENSATION

Pursuant to the laws regarding job postings where the position is located in, Colliers is disclosing the following information:

Area/Location Specific: Minneapolis, MN

Approximate salary range for this role: $70,000 - $85,000 annually

Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
