American Politics

The Department of Political Science at Tufts University invites applications for a part-time lecturer position to teach two in-person undergraduate courses in American politics during the 2025-2026 academic year. Both courses can be in the same semester (fall or spring), or the applicant can propose teaching one course per semester.

We welcome applications across the American politics subfield, though we are particularly interested in candidates who can teach a course on the U.S. Congress and/or the U.S. Presidency. Ph.D. or A.B.D. in Political Science or related field required. College/university teaching experience strongly preferred.
