Post-Doctoral Associate

Job duties:

• 80% Conducting research related to the nexus of air, climate, energy, and food
• 10% Preparing research findings for submission to peer-reviewed journals
• 10% Participating in grant and research group activities and reporting
  
  This is a 4 month appointment with the option to be renewed for up to an additional 8 months, dependent on availability of funding and performance

Required qualifications:
PhD in atmospheric sciences, or related field
Expertise in air quality modeling
Excellent oral and written communications skills

Preferred qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively

The Department of Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering (bbe.umn.edu) is an internationally renowned academic unit with the core mission of sustainable use of renewable resources and enhancement of the environment. BBE is affiliated with both the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS) and the College of Science and Engineering (CSE).

Pay Range: $64,000 - $66,000; depending on education/qualifications/experience
