Duties/Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities |
Work on remote sensing and modeling related research with a focus on surveillance protocols for
BSNB in the southeastern U.S. Develop a sampling design framework that will address the numerous goals of this grant along with other secondary uses. The sampling protocols and design will capture efficiencies in the data needed for multiple objectives focused on
BSND identification and severity. Identification of candidate
BSNB stands to act as benchmarks will be targeted for sampling to maximize efficiency. Ensure statistical rigor and appropriateness of methods employed. |

Duties/Responsibilities |
Timely dissemination of results in peer-reviewed journals, outreach publications, and book chapters, and various presentations at scientific meetings. Networking with other scientists, stakeholders, and collaborators, and writing grant proposals, as needed. Work and collaborate with the Plantation Management Research Cooperative (
PMRC) research group on various forest biometrics related projects. |
