Job Summary This position is responsible for developing, drafting, and negotiating specific reimbursement contracts with all non-hospital institutional (ancillary) providers for all lines of business statewide. Acts as a contact for provider questions and resolves issues regarding contracts and reimbursement forwarded by provider relations.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business

  • 2 years experience in a managed care environment, including contracting and/or reimbursement experience.

  • Knowledge of the provider community and managed care.

  • Clear and concise interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of provider contracting methodology and payor roles, responsibilities, and challenges.

  • Understanding of health care financing, access issues, delivery systems, quality controls, and related healthcare legislation.

  • Experience with negotiating contracts and payment methodology knowledge.

  • Experience with Single Case Agreement negotiations.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Salesforce knowledge

  • Behavioral Health experience

  • Contract Management system knowledge

  • Microsoft Excel and Word experience

This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plansubject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.
