Job Description Summary:
JOB SUMMARY
The Legal Intern position is designed to provide aspiring legal professionals with hands-on experience in a dynamic legal environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced in-house attorneys, contributing to essential legal projects and initiatives. The internship aims to enhance the intern's understanding of corporate law, legal processes, and the practical application of legal skills. By assisting with contract management, corporate governance, litigation, and cross-functional legal support, the intern helps ensure that legal operations run smoothly and efficiently. Job Description: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Primary Duties/Responsibilities Collaborate on Legal Team projects and initiatives, such as contract management systems, training programs, and template development. Draft, review, revise, and negotiate agreements related to the acquisition, development, and commercialization of the Company's products. Conduct legal and other research projects. Draft, review, and revise investor disclosure statements. Support corporate governance initiatives, including managing corporate subsidiaries. Assist in litigation projects. Provide legal support for business operations and interact cross-functionally with departments such as Research and Development, Regulatory, Sales and Marketing, Medical, Patient Engagement, Intellectual Property, Compliance, Finance, IT, and Human Resources. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED
* Minimum level of education and years of relevant work experience. J.D. (Juris Doctor) *Special Knowledge or skills and/or licenses or certificates preferred.
