As a Clinician in our Salt Lake City mobile clinic, you'll deliver comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic care directly to patients in skilled nursing facilities throughout the metro Salt Lake City area. You'll evaluate, measure, fit, and adjust devices for a diverse patient population, all from a fully equipped mobile van designed to support top-tier care on the go. Your day-to-day will involve building strong relationships with facility staff, physical therapists, and other clinical partners, while documenting patient care thoroughly and in compliance with regulatory standards. With the freedom to manage your own schedule within a supportive framework, this role is perfect for a self-driven professional who values flexibility. You'll collaborate regularly with our central clinical team and engage in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives. Our patients are our focus and are the heart of everything we do. As a Hanger Prosthetist and/or Orthotist, you will leverage exceptional training and an extensive collaborative clinical community nearly 1600 providers strong to provide or supervise the delivery of comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic care. You will assess patients, formulate treatment plans, implement those plans, follow-up with your patients and participate in practice management. If you have not yet achieved certification, you will provide care under the direction of one of our certified clinicians. You will enjoy combining your unique blend of clinical and technical skills to evaluate patients, custom design, fabricate and fit prostheses and/or orthoses to deliver exceptional outcomes for the patients you serve. You will collaborate with other members of the rehabilitation team and innovate utilizing the latest technology as we all strive to empower human potential together. Your Impact Depending on the operational requirements, size of the Hanger Clinic and subject to limitations imposed by state and/or local law, your role may include some or all of the functions listed below.
Collaborate with physicians in the evaluation and analysis of a patient's need for prosthetic and/or orthotic services; recommend treatment options to physicians when necessary.
