What you'll be doing..

As a part of the the Insights & Targeting team, supporting the Consumer Base Management Product Revenue organization, you will be an individual contributor. The role is focused on analyzing current product performance within subscriber base, identifying & defining target cohorts for programs by product, evaluating performance & incremental impact of executed campaigns and iterating strategy (test, learn & optimizing to drive results).

Core products supported by this role include, but are not limited to: VZ Mobile Protect (VMP), VZ Home Device Protect (VHDP), Financial Services, including the VZ Credit Card & Future FinTech, VZ Store, VZ Cloud, +Family (Family Perk, Gizmo, CareSmart, Pet Tracker).

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing targets on improving various KPIs through personalized data driven recommendations. You will accomplish this by identifying influenceable cohorts of customers and executing targeted product campaigns to drive desired outcomes.

  • Identifying business problems and developing analytic techniques to provide solutions to external teams.

  • Identifying opportunities, size potential gains, and present actionable plans.

  • Driving multiple technical and data-related projects of varying scopes and complexities.

  • Working with other business units within Verizon, vendors, and executives to represent and drive our organization's strategy.

  • Using data visualization and other data-gathering methods to either provide internal strategic direction or guide decisions for other teams.

What we're looking for..

You have a passion for leveraging data to drive real-world business results and can take complex data stories, simplify and effectively present them in a manner that your audience understands and acts on the insights. You enjoy working in unexplored areas of the business where our information and knowledge is limited and prior best practices are un-established. You thrive in a fast paced environment, are good with numbers and you love to dig into data to find the story. You are detail-oriented and know how to focus on what really matters. You enjoy aligning various work streams to ensure the same vision and goal is achieved.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience in analytics, strategic marketing, planning, and financial analysis.

  • Experience with research, analytical, and critical thinking.

  • Experience in SQL and working with large data sets.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience with data mining and visualization skills.

  • Ability to create compelling narratives to influence decision makers.

  • Ability to build detailed and compelling financial business cases.

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office and G Suite.

  • Presentation experience with executive leadership.

  • Code automation platform experience (BTEQ).

  • Tableau Desktop experience.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $128,000.00 and $238,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
