Compensation $18.00/hour to $22/hour depending on relatable experiences and abilities to the requirements of the opening. *This range reflects Carestream's good faith estimate to pay fairly as starting wage. Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position. Position Summary:
Carestream, located at8124 Pacific Ave, White City, OR 97503is seeking an Intern Desktop Technician for the next 3 to 6 months. If you love providing excellent support for PC users, know your way around hardware, software, telecommunications including Wi-Fi and can work Monday - Friday at our manufacturing site, please apply for consideration. We are excited to hear from you. Position Responsibilities:
PC Support: Order, install, upgrade, repair, re-image and troubleshoot all Carestream IT supported workstations and peripherals, both in the office, remote and on the manufacturing floor if the location requires. This includes maintain inventory of IT hardware and software and fixed asset controls. Telecommunications Support: Help the telecommunications team with network drops, Wi-Fi access, and physical phone issues. Additional duties as needed. Required Skills & Education:
-High School Diploma or GED, ideally enrolled in a degree program and majoring in information technology or closely related field. -Excellent and effective interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication. -Relationship-building skills. HIghly preferred and Desired Skills:
