Chief of Staff

The newly created Chief of Staff position is a blend of strategy, programme management, marketing, and operations. You will experience one-of-a-kind situations and learn from the executive vantage point. As a trusted partner, this role will ensure the senior executive is focused on the most strategic priorities. The position enhances the cohesion of teams, alignment and engagement at the highest levels of the organization. This role will provide accelerated career growth with exposure and insight into all parts of our multi-national business.

  • Frequent (50-70%)

What you'll do

Key Accountabilities

  • In collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), help drive LHH strategic agenda
  • Support in managing and triaging workflow ensuring the focus on the most important priorities
  • Working closely with CFO and business leaders, assist in preparing monthly operational business reviews and follow up
  • Help prepare for important internal / external meetings
  • Be able to represent the senior executive in some internal meetings
  • Lead (or co-lead) specific global strategic initiatives and projects
  • Working closely with the LHH Head of Transformation, shape and produce the content for ELT meetings, board agendas and operational/strategic business reviews
  • Ensure structure and process for optimal communication within the executive teams
  • Connect the dots across the organisation for improved alignment and engagement - partner across business units to influence strategic and operational direction

  • It's important to be very organized and work efficiently and effectively
  • It is critical to take the time to understand the different businesses that LHH operates in and the specificities of the key markets
  • You must be people-oriented, objective and communicate well with different personality types and cultures
  • You need to be persuasive and diplomatic - you excel working through ambiguity and are a self-starter
  • It's also helpful to have the ability to think ahead and catch problems before they arise - trouble shooter
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be passionate about your role, the mission of the organisation and be a strong partner for the ELT

About you

Required skill and characteristics

  • At least 8 years of experience in a large multi-national organisation
  • Highly experienced across MS Office products (word, excel, PowerPoint)
  • University degree or equivalent; advance degree is a plus
  • Outstanding results orientation, plus strong skills in communication, collaboration and influence, change leadership, strategic orientation, customer orientation and problem solving and analysis
  • Experience with transformation, change management and team leadership is required.
  • A proven background in the coordination of projects with internal colleagues across functions, leadership and external parties
  • You must have excellent slideware skills .
  • A background in marketing and communications strategy including value proposition is needed.
  • Must be interculturally savvy, able to communicate at all levels
  • An advanced understanding of strategic financial drivers and processes
  • Advanced in Microsoft office
