The Multimedia Technician is part of a team that provides A/V services and support to the entire campus including system installation, instructional technology support, and A/V support for special events. The incumbent assists with the design of A/V systems in all General Assignment Classrooms based on existing campus standards and performs installation and maintenance. This position works in conjunction with Multimedia Service Coordinators maintaining special event AV equipment and providing location support and student employee oversight for high profile events. Provides instructional support in all general assignment classroom spaces and service delivery for both academic and non-academic events.
This position is classified as on-site. The full salary range for the Multimedia Technician is $30.80 - $54.74 per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $32.54 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
