Job Description

We're seeking a Senior Manager of GxP Quality Training to lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of scalable learning solutions across the GxP landscape. Reporting to the Director of GxP Training & Learning Strategy, this role acts as a strategic partner and instructional design expert, delivering high-impact training experiences that meet both business and compliance needs.

The ideal candidate combines deep knowledge of GxP training practices with strong project leadership, instructional design acumen, and a passion for driving operational excellence. This role will also manage cross-functional training initiatives, and consult with internal teams to align on learning strategy and performance outcomes.

Key responsibilities

Training Program Leadership

  • Serve as SME for the GxP training process; provide consultation, tools, and support to enable consistent execution
  • Manage training team members (FTEs and contractors); coach and develop talent
  • Partner with the Director to evolve the training and qualification quality system, including LMS improvements and roadmap execution
  • Monitor and analyze training program metrics and KPIs; identify areas for enhancement
  • Own Quality Events (QEs) and CAPAs related to training; support audit and inspection readiness

Instructional Design & Learning Solutions

  • Lead the design and delivery of performance-based learning solutions, aligned with adult learning principles
  • Oversee instructional design projects from intake through implementation (internal or vendor-supported)
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and implement continuous improvements based on feedback and data
  • Collaborate with SMEs to develop targeted, scalable, and role-specific content

LMS & System Oversight

  • Act as business administrator for the GxP LMS; manage system configuration, validation, and lifecycle
  • Oversee training material lifecycle within Document Management Systems (DMS)
  • Partner with business teams to design curricula and learning paths that support on-the-job training and task qualification
  • Cross-Functional Partnership & Consulting
  • Build strategic relationships with Quality, Tech Ops, Clinical, and other GxP functions to align on training needs and compliance expectations
  • Support training readiness for functional initiatives; lead or contribute to project teams as the GxP training SME
  • Liaise with Training Coordinators and Qualified Trainers to ensure consistency and compliance across learning delivery
  • Drive adoption of training initiatives through communication planning, change management, and performance consulting

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in GxP training, learning and development, or a related function
  • Strong expertise in LMS administration (e.g., Cornerstone, ComplianceWire, SuccessFactors)
  • Deep knowledge of GxP regulations and quality systems
  • Proficient in instructional design, performance consulting, and stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills and experience managing cross-functional training programs
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
  • Experience with authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate), project management platforms, and learning analytics
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and influencing skills
  • Strategic thinker with ability to balance compliance with operational agility

Pay Range:

$129,500 - $194,200

Disclosure Statement:

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Flex Eligibility Status:

In this Remote-Eligible role, you can choose to be designated as:
1. Remote: work remotely five days per week and come into the office on occasion - you're always welcome on-site; or select
2. Hybrid: work remotely up to two days per week; or select
3. On-Site: work five days per week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.
