Position Title: Shipping & Receiving Specialist

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Shipping and Receiving Specialist at a company in Englewood, CO. This is a direct hire position for 1st shift. Apply now! Shipping and Receiving Specialist Responsibilities: - Unload and check incoming shipments - Match shipping documents (ex. packing lists, bills of lading) to purchase orders and supplier certifications, handle records, and report any discrepancies (ex. quantity, quality, price) or damages - Label deliveries and allocate them (physically and within ERP) to their correct location - Pick, pack, and label parts for shipment, ensuring they meet the shipping requirements and are securely dispatched - Keep track of inventory levels, organize stocks and maintain a clean and safe working environment - Complete necessary shipping and receiving documents with attention to detail and accuracy - Work closely with the production and sales teams to ensure timely delivery and receipt of materials and products - Inspect goods for defects or damages, upholding our quality standards (i.e., ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485, and AS9100:2016) - Utilize material handling equipment (ex. forklift, pallet jack, hand truck) and perform routine maintenance and cleaning of shipping area and equipment - Assist with assembly, masking and passivation as required - Pick up and/or deliver parts and/or materials using our delivery truck Requirements for Shipping and Receiving Specialist: - High school diploma or equivalent; Vocational training or certifications in inventory management, shipping & receiving, warehousing, and/or forklift operations preferred - Proven experience as a Shipping & Receiving Specialist or similar role - Experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment, particularly in medical, aerospace, defense, or semiconductor industries preferred - Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems - Experience with freight carriers and freight forwarders - Familiarity with UPS and FedEx logistics software preferred - Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods - Good organizational and time management skills - Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team - Valid Colorado driver's license - Forklift certification preferred Benefits: - Competitive Salary: We offer salaries that match or exceed industry standards, reflecting the value and skills you bring to our team.
