JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State Conferences & Institutes is hiring for the Wilkes-Barre Summer Camps 2025. We are seeking educators or individuals with an interest to develop and instruct unique weeklong summer youth day camps primarily (content areas may include STEAM, Art, Theatre, Dance, Nature, and Career Exploration) for elementary grade students and middle school aged students. Camps are designed to provide children with an educational, friendly, safe, and fun experience. Instructors are needed June 23 through June 27, 2025, and July 7 through July 11, 2025, from 8AM to 4PM. Requirements/Qualifications: Applicants are required to have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline with prior teaching experience and enjoy working with children The camp curriculum must include hands-on activities Applicants should have excellent communication skills Be able to lift and carry equipment and materials with or without accommodation Applications must be submitted electronically and include an application, cover letter & resume to be considered.
