Job Description

About the team:

Our team specializes in remittance processing, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of customer payments and related activities. We value thoughtfulness and high performance from everyone at FIS and look forward to having you on the team!

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:30pm

What you will be doing:

  • Opening and scanning in items.

  • Coordinating set-up and maintenance activities for the remittance processor and related equipment.

  • Performing research and adjustment activities.

  • Processing exception items.

  • Maintaining inventory of remittance processing supplies.

  • Preparing outgoing collection notices for negotiable instruments, e.g., bonds, food stamps, foreign items.

  • Handling other related duties as needed.

What you bring:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Capacity to lift or move up to 30 pounds.

  • Basic knowledge of remittance processing (we'll train you!).

  • Good written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to assemble, organize, and sequence work.

  • Attention to detail and ability to identify errors in calculations and balances.

  • Strong data entry keying skills.

Added bonus if you have:

  • Up to one year of remittance processing or equivalent experience.
