The Business Continuity Program Manager develops, supports and oversees CPS Energy's business continuity/incident management program. This position works with multiple functions to support, develop, maintain, and implement business continuity plans and solutions across CPS Energy including integrating related processes into teams across the company. This position is responsible for organizing and maintaining the corporate business continuity program to ensure our teams, processes, systems, power generation, energy delivery and gas platform are prepared to respond to a business impacting event. CPS Energy is searching for a Business Continuity Program Mgr/Analyst to provide consultation, guidance, and oversight to the business units in support of our business continuity program. Tasks and Responsibilities
Minimum Skills Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
Demonstrated experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis planning, emergency management, enterprise risk management or related role.
Solid understanding of business continuity principles and other applicable business operations.
Ability to articulate the business problem to be analyzed, quickly identify the critical elements of the problem, achieve a high-quality answer in a timely fashion, and synthesize answers to resonate with decision makers.
Demonstrated capability with effectively communicating complex ideas and analysis verbally at all levels.
Demonstrated track record of achievement in professional and / or personal pursuits.
Excellent organizational, analytical, planning, multi-tasking, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal, written and communication skills.
Strong skills using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Ability to work with time constraints and handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with other team members, external counterparties, and with all levels of personnel within CPS Energy.
Ability to negotiate with and influence others.
Ability to effectively resolve conflicts.

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required Certifications Working Environment

Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business events. After hours work may be required. Physical Demands
