Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer for Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C., is hiring a Retail Sales Associate (RSA) in Winchester, Virginia. The Retail Sales Associate (RSA) plays a vital role in maintaining a strong retail presence at their assigned store while driving sales and customer engagement across their region. The RSA is responsible for proactively reaching out to potential customers, assisting walk-in customers, and ensuring a seamless buying experience. Seeking candidates with previous sales or customer service experience preferred, ideally in a retail or equipment-related industry. College degree in related field, preferred.
Requirements for the Retail Sales Associate position include:
Physical requirements must be met for the Retail Sales Associate job, including regularly being required to stand; walk and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may occasionally lift and /or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
