Position Title: Custom Fabricator
Wage: $18.44/Hour Shifts: 1st Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Thursday; Overtime as Required Looking for woodworkers to add to our growing team. Ideal candidate will be able to adapt to our standards and achieve proficiency in a range of skills including custom cabinet construction and various woodworking techniques throughout the assembly process. Pay is determined based on experience and skill level. Custom Fabricator Responsibilities: Promote and adhere to all safety guidelines, policies, and practices. Immediately report all incidents, injuries or near misses to a Foreperson. Build cabinetry in units according to the Project estimate specifications to meet client requests Work efficiently and collaboratively to ensure all deadlines are met. Use all basic hand tools safely and competently. Read and interpret design drawings and production documents. May cross train to perform other duties Requirements For Custom Fabricator: - Good communication skills - Exceptional analytical, problem identification, and problem-solving skills - Organized and detail oriented - Maintains proper attendance - Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation - Respectfully takes direction from Manager - Enforce and practice policies to establish a culture of health and safety - High School Diploma preferred - Ability to learn reading and interpreting design drawings and production documents - Strong work ethic and organizational skills - Ability to effectively communicate across departments - Occasional bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing - Occasional lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds - Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; outdoor weather conditions QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
