CAD BIM Technician

NEXT Electric, LLC seeking full-time BIM Technician in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Job Summary

• Assists with producing drawings for electrical power and lighting
• Modifies blueprints according to requested specifications
• Creates master drawings showing relationships of proposed installation in facilities
• Works with internal mangers/staff and external customers to provide CAD/BIM support
• 3D Modeling utilizing Autodesk software
• Performs 2D/3D duties as required and assigned utilizing Autodesk software

Qualifications

• Minimum of a two-year degree in architectural drafting or CAD technology or has equivalent combination of education, technical training and work experience
• AutoCad and/or Revit coursework or on-the-job experience
• Must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) preferred
• Prior construction experience preferred
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents
• Customer focused and detail Orientated
• Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of mediums
• Time Management-Ability to self-perform and schedule multiple tasks
