JOB SUMMARY:

A SIOP Lead is responsible for overseeing the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process to ensure efficient supply chain management, inventory optimization, and demand forecasting, collaborate with various departments to align business goals with production capacity, market demand, and financial planning.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • SIOP Process Management:

    • Develop and lead the SIOP process to balance supply and demand.
    • Ensure alignment between sales, operations, finance, and supply chain teams.


  • Demand & Supply Planning:

    • Analyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast demand.
    • Work with supply chain and production teams to ensure adequate resource allocation.


  • Inventory & Capacity Management:

    • Optimize inventory levels to minimize excess stock and prevent shortages.
    • Align production capacity with demand forecasts to improve efficiency.
    • Coordinate with manufacturing plants for back-order recovery.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Facilitate SIOP meetings with key stakeholders, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
    • Communicate risks, constraints, and opportunities to senior management.


  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and service levels.
    • Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Create dashboards, charts, and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
    • Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable format.


  • Continuous Improvement & Strategy Development:

    • Implement best practices in SIOP processes to improve forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
    • Drive process improvements through automation, analytics, and technology integration.





JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.


EXPERIENCE:



  • 5-7 years of experience in sales, inventory, and operations planning within manufacturing or similar industry is preferred.


REQUIREMENTS/CERTIFICATIONS:



  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Expertise in demand planning and inventory management
  • Proficiency in SIOP tools (SAP IBP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Power BI or Excel-based models)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive collaboration with global plants
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
