Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Build new market data feeds and maintain automated release procedures Support complex SQL data retrieval and data management techniques as well as integration across systems Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle Optimize database query performance using indexing, query optimization and other best practices Requirements: Bachelor's Degree 10+ years of professional experience in Oracle Development Expert in building new market data feeds and maintaining automated release procedures Test driven development (JUnit) Experience in Continuous Integration environment (like Jenkins and Bitbucket pipeline) Actual work experience developing and integrating Web services (SOAP/REST) Experience in Linux/Unix platforms Familiar with Agile Methodologies Expert in Excel VBA, VB and C#.NET Knowledge of building new market data feeds and maintaining automated release procedures Strong knowledge in writing efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, functions using PL/SQL Experience designing schemas, tables, data analysis, relationships, and table partitions Understanding of Java and SOAP/REST services, should be able to troubleshoot Production issues Familiarity with CI/CD tools Familiarity working with Agile workflow and processes Desired skills: Master's Degree Awareness of Financial Markets Pay range: $48.85 - $56.85 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
