STS Technical Services is hiring experienced A&P Mechanics in Indianapolis, Indiana to support intermediate and heavy maintenance operations on commercial aircraft. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform intermediate and heavy maintenance, repairs, modifications, overhauls, and inspections on commercial aircraft.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve airframe and engine issues in accordance with all manuals, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct flight control and engine throttle rigging as needed.
  • Use FAA-approved data including IPC, Maintenance Manuals, OHM, and SRM.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and internal quality standards.
  • Complete all assigned duties with minimal supervision.
  • Other tasks as assigned by maintenance leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of commercial aviation experience.
  • Boeing 737 (B737) experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of aviation maintenance manuals, regulatory procedures, and inspection protocols.
  • Ability to work independently, troubleshoot efficiently, and perform under time-sensitive conditions.
