We are looking for a Functional Lead with 8 to 12 years of experience specializing in Sitecore - Setup & Installation Sitecore - Workflow and Sitecore - Core Development. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to drive projects to successful completion. Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 and $140,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup and installation of Sitecore environments to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Oversee the development and implementation of Sitecore workflows to streamline business processes.
• Provide technical expertise in Sitecore core development to enhance the functionality of our web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for Sitecore projects.
• Ensure the successful delivery of Sitecore solutions by managing project timelines and resources effectively.
• Conduct regular code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Sitecore implementations.
• Mentor and guide junior developers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest Sitecore features and best practices to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored Sitecore solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for Sitecore projects to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
• Participate in planning and strategy sessions to align Sitecore projects with business objectives.
• Contribute to the overall success of the company by delivering high-quality Sitecore solutions that meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Core Development.
• Have experience in OMICS Data Analysis Bioinformatics and Structural Biology & Modelling is a plus.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Show a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends.
• Have a proven track record of successfully leading Sitecore projects from inception to completion.
• Display the ability to mentor and guide junior team members to achieve their full potential.

Certifications Required

Sitecore Certification Bioinformatics Certification (nice to have)
