Material Movement Planner

  • Westrock Coffee's Material Movement Planner is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the flow of materials within a manufacturing facility or warehouse, ensuring the right materials are delivered to the correct location at the necessary time to support production operations by forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and collaborating with production teams and suppliers to maintain smooth material movement throughout the supply chain


Job Duties:



  • Plan Materials Movements into and out of Main Coffee Plant (Green, Roast, Ground and packaging)
  • Inform critical team members of any extenuating circumstances that could cause service failures
  • Daily tasks to update critical data files
  • Collect data as requested by manager or team
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Audit Inventory Management Systems, processes, and controls; ensure adherence to SOPs.
  • Maintain and Develop performance metrics and reporting tools
  • Responsible for key performance indicators (KPI). Address failures in corrective action response (CAR) program to address root cause(s).
  • Responsible for analyzing data and generating monthly dashboards/reports to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Responsible for identifying the root cause of all inventory adjustments.


Responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements as required

Qualifications:



  • Minium 1+ years Experience with Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or other related field OR Combination of Education with minimum 3+ years experience
  • Experience managing a diverse set of internal stakeholders, including production, inventory management, maintenance and quality assurance
  • Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, NetSuite, or other similar ERP systems)
  • The ability to work in fast paced high-pressure environment where change is constant and needs to be managed with internal and external customers
  • Motivated, self-directed, and detail oriented
  • Effectively manage multiple duties simultaneously & to develop priorities for self and members of staff
  • Collaborates cross-functionally


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Knowledge of Food and Beverage Manufacturing Environment
  • Familiar with Materials Requirements Planning (MRP)
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Experience in NetSuite or Oracle a plus
