VIE - Deputy Project Manager Role

Could you be the full-time hybrid Deputy Project Manager in Pittsburgh, PA, US we're looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your project management expertise in a new cutting-edge APM program. You'll work alongside innovative, dedicated, cross functional, international and collaborative teammates. You'll contribute to the successful execution and delivery of the project, ensuring they meet the highest standards of Quality Cost Delivery Performance (QCDP). Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, procurement, supply chain, and integration teams), coordinate and synchronize activities within your sub-system and with other project stakeholders, and much more.

We'll look to you for:

• Applying Project Strategy according to defined contractual and Project commitments and targets, as allocated on sub-system,
• Actively contributing to the overall Project performance, including risk management, savings, and opportunities,
• Ensuring compliance with applicable rules, instructions, and standards, including Code of Ethics & Compliance and Environment Health & Safety,
• Planning, monitoring, controlling, and managing sub-system end-to-end activities,
• Coordinating and supporting consistent cross-functional execution of sub-system objectives, activities, and deliverables,
• Leading teams in the successful achievement of project objectives and ensuring stakeholder alignment at the sub-system level
• Reporting to leadership and customer on a regular basis on the project progress.
• Supporting the team in coordination of local events and initiatives to support Alstom's core values.
