WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate movement of materials into, within, and out of the warehouse.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits using 5S principles.
  • Implement and carry out safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and customer service, to meet company goals and customer expectations.
  • Monitor and report on critical metrics to track warehouse efficiency and productivity.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory, shipments, or staff performance.
  • Lead all aspects of the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
YOU HAVE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate required.
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred, although equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • The ability to speak and write fluent Spanish
  • Forklift certification required. Can obtain within 30 days of employment.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
  • Experience in inventory control management and 5s principles
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts), Word, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Basic knowledge in project development.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands:
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures within the warehouse.
