The Nurse Practitioner for Martha Eliot Health Center in Jamaica Plain will be responsible for:
  • Assessing, diagnosing, treating, and referring our pediatric/adolescent patient population.
  • Providing both urgent care and well visit care with a focus on patients age 10 years-22 years of age.
  • This position has a focus on adolescent health care including but not limited to reproductive endocrine health conditions, family planning consultation, and general adolescent medical consultation.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary members of the health care team to design and implement evidence-based care.
  • Developing and recommending standards, policies, and procedures of patient care.
  • Participating in hospital, departmental and multidisciplinary programs, committees, and special projects.
  • Working 20 hours per week: either 2 or 3 days per week including all day on Fridays plus another 1 or 2 days rotating Monday through Thursday. (Flexibility for potential cross coverage needed for a weekend rotation monthly to the primary care clinic on the Longwood main campus.)


To qualify you must have:

  • A masters degree in nursing
  • A current MA NP license, either a FNP or PNP
  • 3-5 years NP experience in pediatric primary care preferred
  • Interest and experience working with an adolescent population preferred
  • Bilingual skills a plus
