The successful candidate will be responsible for developing accurate estimates and drawings for projects with RS Means, analyzing cost data, and providing takeoffs in Bluebeam. This position requires a strong understanding of construction, material costs and CSI trade divisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Develop detailed cost estimates for projects, responding to client work requests and RFPs.
* Utilize cost modeling software (RS Means) and local market analysis to ensure cost reasonableness.
* Analyze project requirements, specifications, and drawings to identify cost drivers.
* Ability to accurately read plans and generate take-offs.
* Investigate and compile benchmarking data to support pricing assumptions and identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Collaborate with IFM and PDS teams to develop optimal pricing strategies.
* Document all pricing assumptions, dependencies, and data sources; educate project managers and clients on pricing models.
* Contribute to the development and improvement of estimating tools and processes to enhance accuracy, reduce risk, and increase efficiency.
* Assist in the creation of RFPs and SOWs.
* Manage and organize CAD drawings and related files within the client database Bentley ProjectWise.
* Ability to produce plans and drawings highly desirable. Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of CAD drawings.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in cost estimating within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of CSI trade costs. Familiarity with local market conditions and construction practices.
* Experience with RS Means, Onscreen Center, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, and PlanSwift is highly desirable.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.
* Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Flexibility to work occasional overtime and travel as needed.

Highly Desirable:

* Provide CAD drafting support for projects, including creating and maintaining as-built drawings, evacuation maps, campus maps, security maps, and other project-related visuals.
* Develop, implement, and maintain CAD standards within Bentley MicroStation.
* Create and maintain client material and construction standards within the CAD system.
* Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation and ProjectWise.
