About the role:

We are seeking a Sr. Analyst to serve as a key member of our Corporate Development Team, which is responsible for global mergers and acquisitions on behalf of Alcoa Corporation. This role will allow you to gain exposure to various parts of the business globally to provide expertise and analysis to support Corporate Development initiatives, including but not limited to:

  • Work with Business Unit and Resource Unit deal team members to coordinate due diligence activities
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support Corporate Development objectives
  • Use financial models to establish asset and company valuations
  • Lead conversations with external parties and internal stakeholders as it relates to Corporate Development projects and objectives
  • Assist with preparation, participate and sit-in with discussions with management and executive leadership on assigned project topics
  • Perform special project work as required to address a myriad of complex, non-standard analysis to support executive decisions
  • Take initiative to make process improvements and standardize approaches
  • Query financial data from financial systems

What you can bring to this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related function
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate development, financial planning and analysis, or consulting
  • Knowledge of various valuation methodologies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organization and documentation skills
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills
  • Comfortable analyzing complex problems and working on ambiguous projects
  • Enthusiastic about working in a team environment / good collaborator
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel

Nous recherchons un analyste principal pour servir de membre cle de notre equipe de developpement corporatif, qui est responsable des fusions et acquisitions mondiales au nom d'Alcoa Corporation. Ce role vous permettra d'acquerir une exposition a diverses parties de l'entreprise a l'echelle mondiale pour fournir une expertise et des analyses afin de soutenir les initiatives de developpement corporatif, y compris mais sans s'y limiter :

  • * Travailler avec les membres de l'equipe de transaction des unites commerciales et des unites de ressources pour coordonner les activites de diligence raisonnable
  • Developper et maintenir des modeles financiers pour soutenir les objectifs de developpement corporatif
  • Utiliser des modeles financiers pour etablir des evaluations d'actifs et d'entreprises
  • Mener des conversations avec des parties externes et des parties prenantes internes en ce qui concerne les projets et objectifs de developpement corporatif
  • Aider a la preparation, participer et assister aux discussions avec la direction et les dirigeants sur les sujets de projet assignes
  • Effectuer des travaux de projet speciaux au besoin pour aborder une myriade d'analyses complexes et non standard pour soutenir les decisions executives
  • Prendre l'initiative d'ameliorer les processus et de standardiser les approches
  • Interroger les donnees financieres des systemes financiers

Ce que vous pouvez apporter a ce role :

  • * BAC en commerce, finance ou domaine connexe
  • Plus de 3 ans d'experience en developpement corporatif, planification et analyse financiere ou conseil
  • Connaissance de diverses methodologies d'evaluation
  • Competences interpersonnelles et de communication solides
  • Competences solides en organisation et en documentation
  • Competences analytiques et de prise de decision solides
  • A l'aise avec l'analyse de problemes complexes et le travail sur des projets ambigus
  • Enthousiaste a l'idee de travailler en equipe / bon collaborateur
  • Experience avec Microsoft Excel
