This is an on site position open to any qualified applicant in the United States.

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 8 + years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Monte Carlo Developer and will work from our office during day shifts. This role does not require travel. The Architect will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions to drive our companys success.

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions using Monte Carlo development.
• Oversee the development and deployment of scalable data processing pipelines.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the development team.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure the security reliability and performance of cloud-based applications.
• Conduct regular code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architecture and processes.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage to ensure cost-efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to cloud infrastructure.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and standard methodologies in cloud computing.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of new cloud technologies and tools.
• Mentor junior team members and provide training on cloud technologies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

• 8+ years of experience in an IT related role
• Must have extensive experience with Cloud Dataproc and Cloud Dataflow.
• Should possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Must have a deep understanding of cloud architecture and design principles.
• Strong experience in data processing and ETL pipelines and agile development methodologies.
• Should have a strong focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

The annual salary for this position is between $81,000- $156,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
