Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with 12 to 16 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Scrum, CX-Scrum Master, Agile Methodologies, React JS, Springboot, Microservices and Core Java. A strong background in Finance & Accounting is essential. This hybrid role offers a day shift with no travel requirements.

Location: Miami - FL USA (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage project teams to deliver high-quality software solutions within the Finance & Accounting domain.

* Oversee the implementation of Agile methodologies ensuring adherence to Scrum practices and principles.

* Provide guidance and support to the team as a Scrum Master facilitating daily stand-ups sprint planning and retrospectives.

* Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope objectives and deliverables ensuring alignment with business goals.

* Develop and maintain detailed project plans schedules and budgets tracking progress and addressing any issues that arise.

* Ensure the successful delivery of projects by coordinating resources, managing risks and resolving conflicts.

* Utilize technical expertise in React JS Springboot Microservices and Core Java to provide hands-on support and guidance to the development team.

* Foster a culture of continuous improvement encouraging team members to identify and implement process enhancements.

* Communicate project status risks and issues to stakeholders providing regular updates and ensuring transparency.

* Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices maintaining high-quality deliverables.

* Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies staying current with industry trends and advancements.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software solutions with existing systems.

* Contribute to the company's overall success by delivering projects that enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth.

Qualifications:

* Possess a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices with experience as a Scrum Master.

* Demonstrate proficiency in React JS Springboot Microservices and Core Java with hands-on experience in software development.

* Have a solid background in Finance & Accounting with the ability to understand and address domain-specific requirements.

* Exhibit excellent project management skills with the ability to plan, execute and deliver projects on time and within budget.

* Show strong leadership and team management abilities with experience in guiding and mentoring project teams.

* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

* Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process enhancements.

Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 3/25//2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $81,000 - $141,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
